April 15, 2012~ This neglected blog may soon become the space for reporting the comings and goings of our mission to Fiji, Suva Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. We will be landing in Port Vila, Vanuatu and will join forces with other missionaries to "do some good".

We are both really excited about this new experience and look forward to many opportunities that we probably have never dreamed of. We have prepared the house and will have a renter...so all things are moving forward!!

If I can learn to put pictures on this spot....it might be the place to record our experiences in the Islands.

It is fun when your children create something fun....then it gets lost in the shuffle of life. I have not even been on this site for over a year. It is amazing how quickly time goes by. It seems like just yesterday I said goodbye to my mother~and to our son who when into the big world to serve a full time mission in Barranquilla Colombia. It is amazing to think that he will be home in 16 weeks.

In the past month Reed has retired from the State of Oregon and is doing all sorts of things around the house that he has wanted to do for a very long time. I am waiting patiently for some warmer weather so that the gardening experiences can begin. In the mean time there is Seminary and the Afterschool program and dreams about summer....and the sun.
